Shades of Red?

I think the red color being used on the 2016 F3-T is a different shade of red than was used last year on the F3 models. Was it called "Magna Red" last year? The red color listed for the RT's and the F3-T is "Intense Red." What they called red last year looked orange to me, so I like the Intense red better. Speaking of color, what do you think of the orange bars etc. on the Magnesium colored F3-T?

Haven't kept up on all the different reds BRP has come out with because they are different every year. Have to admit though, last year the F3 red did look orange to me, but it was a nice look.

IMHO, magnesium (grey) is a neutral color and goes with just about any other color, orange included.

It all boils down to what you think about the color combination. Everyone has their own taste in vehicles and colors. You're going to ride it, pick the colors you like best!

Naming a color is like naming a race horse..:roflblack: not two can be alike. I always like to find the color before it got a name...Welcome to the spyder world and the place to help you understand it . I did not give the color much thought most important was availability. I wanted to ryde NOW..!! hyea:hyea: I can learn to live with the color or change it. But if you can order one get it the way you like it......some dealers will swap panels.....:thumbup:

The red color per the BRP webpage, IMO, beautiful. I have seen pictures of similar :spyder2:'s in magazine reviews that look like a totally different shade of red.

Printers inks don't necessarily match actual. The proof is in actually seeing the color in sunlight. I am still waiting here. opcorn:opcorn:

Last year it was called Can-Am Red. The Can-Am red frame on the magnesium F3-T looks stunning. My F3-S has that colour scheme and I love it. :yes:
