• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Let me know how you like it. I'm not sure how good it would work on the RT because of the angle but it would work great on my GS. :doorag:

Got mine installed and it looks pretty cool. Not sure if it helps yet but I'll have plenty of miles to find out soon.

Sun/Rain Hood and TourTech Locking Mount

We were out in the rain and sunshine over the last two weekends and it helped in both cases. Will modify mine this week to adapt to the TourTech Zumo 660 Locking Mount. This will allow me to walk away from the Spyder without taking the Zumo off every time.

I ordered one also. Just received it yesterday. I am a little disappointed in the design. I was hoping that it would wrap around to the back leaving cut-outs for all the necessary access. It only connects to the sides and does make getting access to the buttons and access ports more difficult. I am also curious to see how long the thin strips of velco lasts. This product will need a long term test before I give it my :2thumbs:.

that's exactly what my thoughts were, and why I am holding off for now. When I press buttons on the GPS, it is not always the same,(sometimes from the top ) plus even in the sun the screen is still readable for me. I am wondering if I might be able to make something that.........nah, I'll wait and see what LaMonsters and others verdict is.

I may have missed your post about the sun guard modification to adapt to the tourtech mount. Would you please show some pictures and how you installed it.
Thanks, Newman1
