• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

getting a new one

The way my wife (who does not ride) and I have out finances set up we have his, hers and our accounts. We both put money in the our account to cover all the home expenses
and the shared expenses. What ever money (if any) is left over to be in the his and hers accounts. From them we can buy anything we want and the other half can't complain (much). So when my wife went to California to visit her gf I bought a 2013 RT Limited. She was surprised when she got home but not angry. A year earlier she bought an
"airport car" but that is another story.

Airport Car

A couple of years ago the wife's daughter and child were coming from Chicago to visit us. She was driving a sports car and I had (and still have) a 4 door truck. She wanted to know what we were going to pick them up at the airport with. I said the truck will work just fine, she said where will they ride and I said remember it has 4 doors. She said what about the luggage and I said "It's a truck!", we will put the stuff in the back. She said what if it's raining and I said that is why god made tarps. She said "I hate your *^%$)*& truck", so I said go buy a car and she did that very afternoon. Hence the "airport car" which we still have and it's actually a nice little car. So end result is she has 2 cars and I have a truck and :spyder2: so it all works out.

This clearly explains why attempting to google the term "airport car" wasn't particularly successful.

We used to have a kind of "airport car" too. We had a "cabin" on a small municipal lake about 30 miles away from home. There was a sod landing strip and hangar on the opposite side of the lake. My dad always preferred to fly and was the FBO (fixed base operator) at our local general aviation airport. So Mom and the kids would go to the lake and Dad would commute back and forth for the business. So we bought a '56 Ford station wagon to keep parked in the hangar so he could get from the landing strip to the cabin. It had holes in the floor and some rats had taken up residence while we weren't using it. But you just scare out the vermin, sweep out the dust, etc., and it was an easy ride around the lake. Thankfully no one had to drive it any further. We called it the "hoolie car."

Y'all need to quit acting so impressed BRP will slow production so prices stay high they'll never come down! $32 k is what I paid for my first house, granted that was 30 years ago....

I took the direct approach. I told her about the 2014 and much to my surprise she replied "Go ahead and get it if you want it". I'm pumped!
It will be a 2014 Rt Limited black/current. How much should I expect for trade in for my 2010 Rt SE5 Audio & Convenience with 10k miles?

Just goes to show you that honesty is the best policy

I am still very happy with my 2010. Just get out and enjoy the ride and forget about the 2014 .

Me too. My '10 has been great! 21,500 miles great to date. It is still hard to get the '14 out of my head no matter how unraitional it is :dontknow:1-IMG_0555.jpg
