first I would like to say hello to everyone it been awhile. The family and I have gotten relocated and settled in Virginia and have internet now, so I hope to be on here more. I have had some withdrawals and have missed the spyderlovers family.

Now my question. I have not had time to read up on the recall and have started to have problems with the steering and braking going into limp home and check engine light coming on. To fix the problem I just shut the bike down and that seemed to reset the computer. Will the recall fix this or do you think that I have something else going on? I have also heard that there is an update that the dealer can do to make the two brothers pipe perform better on the spyder is this true?

had some issues also ..first the check engine light would come on if i shut it off and restarted it would go off... that ended up being oil sending unit switch... second my steering issue they did update it worked for about an hour then stopped ..the GPS unit is junk now starting to make shift indicator screw up... ...dropping it off monday for GPS hope your dealer can help...

I remember you - welcome back! I don't have any answers but I'm sure others will chime in - so what part of VA are you in? You near the blue ridge parkway?

That is where we stop after riding from CT. Winchester our first stop, then rest and onto Roanoke. You're lucky to live there - so close to the nice mountains like that!
