• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As a new Spyder owner, I want to get a service manual so I can at least change my oil. Can anyone suggest the best manual to get. I see more than one when Googled. (I hate choices.)

I purchased my cd service manual on eBay, it was from Green Manuals and it cost 19$ shipping included. It pretty will covers it all. By the way :welcome:!

Welcome to Spyderlovers. Take time to look around the entire site. This question would get better coverage if you were to post it in the General Discussion section or one of the appropriate Shop Talk sections. Also, use the search engine. There have been multiple discussion of the various service (shop) manuals. I got mine from the Green Manuals via eBay if I remember correctly. As someone else pointed out, get familiar with the User Manual. There is a lot of information in it. You can also down load a .pdf of it. I have copies on my PC, iphone and ipad.

Hope to see you around sometime. Macon was my first road trip after getting my RT last year. Need to come down that way again.
