• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena RC-4 Handlebar Remote

Cruising RT

Anyone mounted a Sena RC-4 remote on a Spyder RT? I have a 14' RTL SE6, so I'm not able to mount on left grip due to changing gears. I am about to purchase the Sena SRL bluetooth for my Shoei Neotec II helmet and would like to add a handlebar remote. Any suggestions & photos would be Awesome. Thanks in advance for your time.

I have the original handlebar remote and have the same problem. It will clip on the dash or it has to be stored in the glove box. Mu guess is that the RC-4 has to be on a pipe of some kind due to the new shape.

I've had two of those for the wife's 30K on her F3T it works for about 30 minutes and then just disconnects, even tried it with my SRL and similar results. Initial connection and usage is as it should be but after just a short while its no worky ):

I was going to purchase 2 of them (1 for each F3), but noticed the issue with mounting them with the paddle shifters. Decided to go with the RC3 as those can be mounted on any flat serfaces, and the buttons are larger for use with gloves.

I have the Shoei Neotec II and I’m under the impression that the SRL system is basically the same as a Sena 20S so I think my only remote control option is the Sena RC4, May be wrong.

I contacted Sena. All remotes are suppose to work with all models. At least that is what they told me.

I have an RC-4 mounted on the left grip of my '18 RTL SE6, controling the SRL in my NeoTec II, with no problems shifting. Are you afraid it will interfere with the shifter? Doesn't on mine.

Can you post a pic of how you have it mounted?

Motorcycle Dave, can you explain the differences between Sena's 4 different communicator remote controls? I would definitely like to get one of these handy devices but choosing which one is a problem. Thanks.
