• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Selling a Spyder

Hey @LEEB - that bridge is right next to me! Are you far from Smith Marine? Ask them to sell it. See what price they give you.

Interesting! Where is Smith Marine located? This bridge is the Delleville bridge just outside of Duncannon. It was burnt down a short time after this photo was taken. Arson! They are in the process of rebuilding it now.

As Highwayman said above, you can run an ad in the for sale section here.

Pricing will make a difference as the readers here are very astute about it.

The "magic" price seems to be somewhere between wholesale and book value. Many dealers will always try to get book value or more if it is accessorized when they sell it.

Many dealers will also low-ball you if you try to sell it outright or trade it in. Book value is usually from $2K to $4K higher than trade or wholesale.

If you advertise with a "fair" price...you should do well. Accessories usually go for 25% to nothing when being considered for re-sale. Those that try to get their money back...usually do not make a sale. An ad with 500 looks and no bites...usually indicates asking price to high.

Good luck with your sale.

Many places....

Start here for sure then the local shops and papers in your area, Craigs list, ebay Motors depending on how far out you want to reach...
