• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

seen the new trikes?

Sorry, but that leaning HD trike = :barf:

The Brudelli Leanster looks pretty good.

Except in this video:

Quite honestly... I consider myself to be a pretty decent spyder rider... and I could out pace that guy on that track. I'm not sure leaning on a trike has some of the same net benefits as on two wheels. It does not appear that the leaning helps him in the twisties at all. Furthermore, I bought my Spyder as it was a sport tourer which I then turned into a full tourer with hard cases. The spyder's flat contact patch is ideal for the 1000's of miles I've run touring the country so far and based on that video, even laden with my bags, I could run with or out run that guy in the twisties.

Sure... That thing allows you to hang the ass end out on a turn and that would be fun. It will be interesting to see if they or somebody can further refine the leaning ability in a trike and have it out perform the Spyder.... and then add the ability to go touring. :D

After watching those videos, I believe the Spyder to be more of a well balanced - jack of all trades machine.
