• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In instances like this, usually the issue is DNS poisoning somewhere in the internets. I could elaborate, but here is the long and short of it.

Domain Name Services (DNS) make the IP numbers and names resolve to the same thing. The people having the issue are having DNS servers with incorrect IPs in the network (known as DNS poisoning, or what it was called a few years back, who knows what it is called now). So when the DNS servers self heal (they do this buy updating on some interval set by the server), the link will work again.

Crazy internets.

:shocked::hun: But it just ain't workin'... :shocked:

We purchased our new touring motorcycle in April 2010, which was a step up from our 1998 Honda Shadow A.C.E. Tourer. The Shadow was a good bike and is still running strong in the hands of a friend and co-worker. I have been waiting for Can-Am to release this touring model for the past year, and they finally introduced it for 2010.
So we are the proud owners of the Spyder RT-S SM5 Premier Edition #0036 in Timeless Black. She is a beut!!
I have created a few modifications to make riding easier and more comfortable. See the Photo Gallery page.

After 2 years and 26,000 miles we are still enjoying our Spyder. We have made 2 2,000 mile round trips to Cuba MO, and a 1,600 round trip to Maggie Valley. Our next trip is planned for Lake Placid NY.

23-05-2012
I created a windshield mask to cover the windshield support assembly to hide the dirt that gets in between the windshield and the assembly and it also hides my SunPass. I got the carbon fiber vinyl from Ebay for $10.00.
Photos on the Gallery Page.

I have added to the product page the OEM Seat Fuel Door, a new Rear Deck Run/Brake LED, and updated a long overdue shipping adjustment.

[h=1]OEM Seat Fuel Door Mod[/h]
03-25-2012
Well after several months of procrastination I finally completed the Fuel door mod. I didn't want to cut up my PE0036 seat so I had to wait on a spare seat. Thanks to Bob from Utopia I was able to aquire the textured material to cover the door so it matched the existing knee pads. Home Depot provided the hidge and the fuel door itself was cut from the top of a polypropolene 55 gal barrel and shaped using a heat gun. It wasn't a difficult mod, but took some time to get everything lined up just right.
See the galley for photos.

The link works fine for me, also. I think src is right. I didn't know what they called it but I know that occasionally the "tables" that interpret the domain name and convert it to an internet address get messed up.
