• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Search function on OEM radio doesn't work

I have the OEM sound system in my 2014RT. In addition to crappy reception on FM (I was in LA recently and could only get a handful of stations), it doesn't seem to want to 'search' for the next station. I've held down the >> button for several seconds at a time, but it goes to the next numerical station and stops. No search function.

Anyone else experience this?

Still under warranty .... but I don't want to leave it at the dealer for 2 weeks until they can get around to it.

If My memory serves my correctly you need to program first the station you want to do the channel search. I know makes no sense..Now I am doubting myself what I just typed :roflblack:

:agree: :roflblack: ............I have had this happen to my Trk radio..... If the signals in the area your are in are very weak I believe the radio just isn't able to use this function........ I found out how to fix my trk radio ..... the antennae had loosened and just tightening it fixed it ....... check yours ....and the HUGH amount of lok-tite BRP uses doesn't help reception , try cleaning it ALL off ........
