• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not sure about an o-ring. The filter is laying horizonal and you take a cover off and slide the filter into the cover and re-bolt the cover back on. There is probably a rubber gasket around the cover to keep it from leaking. Just not sure about an o-ring on the filter. My dealer changed this and I wasn't there. They are closed today, but I will call and find out tomorrow for you unless someone else answers the question in the meantime.

My dealer did not replace mine at 600 miles. I'm making the dealer change the filter now at 4000 miles. Should i make the dealer change the oil also? Why?

If a dealer doesn't follow the factory recommended maintenance requirements, your warranty is in just as much jeopardy as if you had neglected it. If you have a problem later, the dealer's claim would be denied by BRP, leaving you to settle things directly with the dealer. Not a good situation. I personally would find another dealer if I were you...and get the maintenace items caught up to date ASAP, including changing the oil again just to be safe. If the dealer charges you for this, he is a crook, IMO.

NancysToy thanks for the information. I will change dealers after my 1 year VIP plan expires or after my 6000 mile service. I've had my bike at the dealer twice and both time the service writer had a bad attitude.
