• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 problems for real?

Badger w/SE5 Prob's

Check with Bradford Marine there in Hot Springs. Unfortunately, I know what you're talking about and the real problem is with the coil wires crossing the TCM. BRP discovered the reason for the glitch late this week. If you have any problems contact the Bradford Marine in North Little Rock's shop supv. They have the solution and it's fairly simple

2008 SE5

We have 3000 miles on our SE5, love the shift and rarely use the downshift because about the time i start to downshift, it shifts. If you let off of the throttle and hit the brake , it is going to downshift. On panic stops, all you hear is 4 exhaust notes in quick order and when you are stopped, you are in 1st gear. The only time i manually downshift is when i come into a sharp curve and do not want to brake but need to slow down a little without losing RPMs.:2thumbs: Love not having to hold clutch in in long traffic lines.Wife drives as much as i do and loves it.

How about getting the answer - or having them come on here and share what they found to work for the fix?

This is does not effect every SE but it is a fix for some of them for sure.

If for whatever reason your SE gets stuck in gear and you pull over and turn the key off an then turn it back on again and your parking brake beeper does not beep at you like it would normally then your tcm has shut down. What seems to be happening is there a rf feed back coming from the coil pack that's messing up the computer. The fix is to run a ground wire from the coil pack mount to a good ground on the frame. I called one of my BRP contacts to verify this.
