• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Scorpio alarm nightmare, need help

Some history first, I installed the Scorpio alarm (I900) but did not put in the kill box. Well thank goodness for that or I would have been in a real jam.
I was at an outdoor event and noticed my signal icon was blinking. I did not think much of it. Well when I went to leave the alarm would not disarm. Worse than that it starting going off. I tried everything. I did not have the book with me and could not remember how to enter the blinker code sequence. I had to drive off with the thing going off. Very :redfaced:
So I get home and ripped everything apart and could not get the remote to communicate with the alarm. I tried everything even encoding the remote. When I tried to enter program mode on the bike it would do the 2 chirps but then continue to chirp differently for a minute. It seems to me like the alarm is unable to talk to the remote at all. The signal icon just blinks and blinks. There is actually a hidden button on the remote between button 1 and 2 that I found that resets the remote but that didn't help. It stops the signal icon from blinking but as soon as I press button 1 it starts to blink again, even trying to encode again.
Anyone have any ideas, what does a blinking icon mean I could not find that anywhere

I know it's sunday, so you'll have to wait till tomorrow, but they have a support number on their website. I had to call once and it was pretty easy to get through to them.

I still haven't installed mine, and now I'm nervous about doing it even more than before. If you do get through to them please let me know the outcome.
