• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well after a lot of thought and checking around for a new toy I found one today that
really caught my eye and after some haggling with the dealer about the numbers
we reached a deal we were both happy with and I pulled the trigger on a 2022 Yamaha
Wolverine side by side 1000 CC engine and lots of extra goodies. I will try to post some
pictures after they deliver it on Friday afternoon.
I have really enjoyed this forum for all these years and will still check in from time to time.

Yes it is off road only, but we have a lot of trails behind our property to ride and we plan on
going to some of the national forest to ride. A lot of our friends and neighbors have 4 wheelers and
side by sides so we can join them and ride in groups. It's something different for us and I think
we will have a lot of fun and enjoyment with it.

I've rototilled the real estate for many years in the past on a number of different dirt machines, 2,3, and 4 wheels. Most of us have moved on to quieter and cleaner wind in the face conditions. Nothing really new, but we've found that our bodies won't take the pounding and bouncing like they used to. Good luck with you're switching over, and most of all, have fun and stay safe. I really enjoyed my time in the dust and the mud.

"You will be back" someday! , Mark my words! ........Bill

Sorry to see you parting with the Spyder.

You will like the side by side. We also bought a Mule side by side a year ago. We have enjoyed it a lot. We have about 100 miles of interconnecting dirt roads less than a mile from here. We ride the Mule at least a couple times a week.

I think you'll be back on a Spyder sooner than you think.

IMHO, SxS are even less "practical", in that you really can't take it on the road, and the majority of the time, that's where people are most likely to congregate.

I've actually thought about getting a Can-Am Maverick 2-seater, but decided against it, because for me, it would be more of a "toy". At least with my RTL, I can use it to go to work, run errands, hang out with bike/tryke buddies, go eat at restaurants, go to bike rallies, etc.

Anyway, good luck and have fun !!
