• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw this lift on Spyder TV

Sweet . . . but if I had one, I think I'd enlarge the footprint on the floor . . . that is a lot of weight up in the air, with a high center of gravity . . . . sure would suck to have it tip over!

Very cool..!!

I think I saw them here before around $600.00 but needed the adaptors. Still do fine with the craftman I have at $89.00..

I used to have a rotary mid rise lift kinda like that bendpak. 6,000lb lift, single piston, movable rack points. It was nice for civics or similar sized/weight vehicles. It was movable via pump dolly and i got it for like $800. That being said, I refused to be around it with a car in the air because of how bad it would wobble when fully extended.
I really like that spyder lift, but i'm in agreement with a previous poster, that is just too small of a footprint for so much weight so high up.
I will say that my rotary lift wobble issue was significantly reduced after we bolted it into the floor. But then you remove your ability to move the rack around to maximize your shop space.

So i guess if this spyder lift model is boltable to the floor (maybe build ramps for the tires to clear the rack arms better?) then I would buy this.

Bought this lift earlier this summer, have not had time to assemble it, when I do I will post some pics and a review! Was thinking to put some sort of removable weights on the legs as a bit of added insurance!
