Safety Card Drawer

Has anyone found a good use for the safety card slide out drawer on the dash? I would like to use it for something...

I pull it down over the instrument panel when ryding long distances with the hot sun to my back. Some put warnings on them and leave them out when parked. Don't know what else you can use it for...:dontknow:

I used it to hide a cord that runs to my GPS.
I am sure you could use this idea for any dash or other mounted electronics.

I was also thinking of a pull out light weight thin material for an instant pull out seat cover. Just have not got around to working on the idea. There is actually a lot of space under the top dash cover!

I saw where someone was affixing a map to it for longer rides. Seems handy. Ride a ways then slide it out to see where to go next.

I use it for trip directions, written on a trimmed 3x5 card and wrapped with clear packing tape, which makes it waterproof. It works well, for me.
