Had the opportunity to do a funeral escort today. The wife of an airman at Seymour Johnson AFB passed away this week. Her family asked if we could do a motorcycle escort from the funeral home to the base chapel. It was short notice but about 30 riders showed up. Did my heart good to see how folks responded. There were two Spyders.I pulled in to the line and the other Spyder pulled in behind me. Never met the fellow before, didn't have much opportunity to speak with him since he's deaf and my sign language is limited. However, I did find out he just returned from an Iron Butt ride in new Mexico. We did converse some about his RS and my RT S. He said that would be his next :spyder2:.
