• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sabatage...

What the heck happened at MIS yesterday??? Were all the Hendrick cars sabataged? Well, maybe not Gordons, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Khane had the lead, blew a tire and slammed the wall, caught fire from a broken oil line. Jr, had the lead, blew an engine. Johnson had the lead and his right front blew. Talk about being snake bit. I was really hoping Jr could pull this one off. :(

That was something, wasn't it?? It is extremely rare that Hendricks doesn't have at least one car in the top 10. Three DNFs and a 28th place finish for Johnson certainly smacks of the evil eye.

Even the best can have an off-day... :gaah:
We've rooted for Jeff since the mid-nineties (before the first Championship)
He hasn't just been snake-bit this year; he's been snake-bit, snake-stomped, snake-spit, snake-strangled, and snake-insulted... :gaah:
Junior got a bad hunk of motor; more bad luck! :(
Front tires pop when you lean on them at about 210 or so going into turn one! :yikes:
I think that they mentioned the highest top speed of the day was 219...

MIS is a fast track for sure. And you're right about RF tires. They take a heck of a side load in a high speed turn. Wonder when the all mighty NASCAR Gods will make it a plate track?

Well Danica had one of her strongest finishes of the year !!!!!!!! She finally cracked the top 15 but is still right on pace for my 2013 predictions.

As otter says......................... Just sayin !!!!!!! :roflblack::roflblack:

Ya, but she's got a new belt buckle :roflblack:

Was wondering when Danica would again be mentioned. Of late, have been noting that she just likes to cruise around at the end of the pack--30-35th most of the time. I do have to give her credit that she has not been involved in any crashes and do compliment her on the finish yesterday. But---dare I say that it was a fluke? :roflblack:

Boo Hoo Hoo poor Chevrolets could not make the dance. It is about time they didn't make the finish in the top 10. As far as Junior goes, he isn't the driver his father was>

It's interesting that the open wheel drivers like Danica Patrick and Juan Pablo Montoya don't have what it takes to operate at the top level in NASCAR Sprint racing.

No, he isn't the driver his father was. Then neither was Kyle Petty. Jason Jarrett, Dale Jarrett's son didn't last long at all behind the wheel and is now a spotter. Clifford and Davey Allison weren't doing to well before both were taken all to soon from this world. Then there's open wheel racing, do we need to go there too??

So I didn't get to see the race as I was riding through the birthplace of Nascar. Rode past David Pearson Ln., and by the Rock but I have no idea who won the race?

Apparently, the owners did something to the track finish which has effectively reduced it from a run anywhere to a two groove track.

I think that it was last year when they repaved it; perhaps it's the "wearing in" process"... :dontknow:

"Googley-Eyed" :roflblack: Yeah; that fits!

I like the Biff. He's a good guy. It's about time for someone else to win a race. Yes, they did repave last year. They talked about this before the race. One of the drivers, I forget who, said that by next year the track should be seasoned enough for "three wide" racing.
