• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The back bag is the back rest for me. Fits my body excellent. Maybe you can adjust the handle bars and foot pegs to make it work for you. cueman

I think that is what Ryker900 did. It looks like he has added a larger pad to the front of the trunk. Looks good

Yes I did, but it does not have much padding and it's velcroed on. Would like something with more padding for my old back.

Here's what I did for a back rest. I bought a back rest pad from E-bay for $23 and made my own bracket to attach it to. Works great and cost was cheap! I also changed the top case to a lockable EMGO for $70. A 3/4 helmet will fit in it. Also cheap! Works great!

Could also fit a motorcycle top case with an integrated passenger backrest, such as this SHAD one:

I'm presuming it would attach to the Max Mount ok and it could be adjusted to fit behind the rider.

I would be interested to see some detailed photographs of how you attached the EMGO case and backrest to the Max Mount. Also which EMGO?

Here's where to get the Emgo: https://www.denniskirk.com/emgo/travel-trunk-72-32440.p493508.prd/493508.sku

You have to put the Emgo as far back as you can. I used the 2 brackets that came with the Emgo and put them both together to go all the way across the bottom of the max mount and the Emgo mount. The Emgo fits pretty tight against the backrest. The lid of the Emgo opens almost all the way, but not quite. You can get everything in but have to hold the lid open or it will close. Maybe you could raise the Emgo a little some way. I'm fine with the way it is. Hope that the pictures help. I changed my mind and I raised the front of the Emgo a quarter of an inch with a piece of 1/4" thick x 3/4" wide x 9" long aluminum I had on hand. Now the Emgo opens all the way and is not touching the backrest.

perfect, thank you

My solution - a neighbour skilled in needlework stitched a pad for me and it is attached with several strips of Velcro - feels very comfortable and I don't see why it will not work well.

I am going to attach pictures but they will probably be upside down based on previous experience :-)
