• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryding next week

Thanks!
Much to the dismay of the Missus: I still find myself drawn to motorcycle camping! :D
I'm looking at a much smaller rig (Kompact Kamp), so additional storage space, would be a necessity. nojoke

EDIT: Patti, You might want to check these folks out:
http://www.litetentcamper.com/options02.htm

A quick peek at their site leads me to believe that they'll sell the Pod separately...

Thanks for the link, Bob. When I bought the trailer it was missing one of the amber lights on one side. The seller tried to get one from the factory and never got a reply. I finally bought a pair that didn't match the others and got them mounted. So I'm not really confident about doing business directly with the factory. So having another source for accessories and maybe parts will be helpful. One option they don't show that is on the manufacturer's site is the bracket for a tool box instead of the storage pod. For the cost of the pod, I can make a bracket and get a box to put there. It just won't look as good.

If the motorcycle camping doesn't work out for me, I may have this one for sale next year. Or you can make me a ridiculously high offer now. :ohyea:

 I'll have to wait until I've worn her down a little bit more... :D
Otherwise: I might end up living in it... FULL TIME!! :yikes:

Patti, Lees-ure Lite is only a stones throw away from us (well I can't throw that far) but if you ever need me to find out something or even try to get something for you, I'd be willing to try.

Cool!!

Next stop, do a video of making camp. That would be cool! You said it was quick. How quick? How is it in rain? High wind? So, step one is unstrap stuff from rack, then open like a clamshell? Do the poles stay attached? Is there an add a room option?

Here ya go, Joe: http://www.leesurelite.com All the answers to your questions!

BTW, I've already decided that in case of rain or high wind, I'll hotel camp. This is a "camp-to-ryde" proposition, not "ryde-to-camp."

I got home about 7:30 pm and will unpack everything tomorrow. I was at Pitbull till after 1 pm, then refused and headed out. It was a long and very hot day.
