• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryder Clips Shift Sock

Need a little help. I ordered and received my Shift Sock today. I managed to stretch it and get in onto my shift lever, however, I can't quite manage to get the zipper zipped up.

Does anyone else have one of these? If so, could you zip up the zipper?

By the way, www.ryderclips.com shipped to me very quickly AND sent me TWO shift socks, just to be nice, I guess! They sell other products besides the shift sock. They responded to my e-mails very quickly and seem like good people to do business with.

If anyone else has one of these shift socks, I'd appreciate some help!
Thanks!

Problem solved!

With my husband's help, we managed to get the Shift Sock zipped up! We tied a cord to the zipper pull, he held the zipper closed, and I pulled the zipper pull. The problem with the Spyder is that the lever holding the shift pedal is very wide. Luckily, the material is stretchy enough that we could get it zipped.

Just thought I'd post, in case anyone else orders one.

We went for a ride tonight and it felt pretty good -- plus it's still in place!

You really have to stretch it to get the zipper closed.

The people at Ryder Clips seem really nice to deal with, so if you can't make it fit, I would imagine you can return it.

Good luck -- let us know if it works for you!
