After sitting on daddydarko's Corbin seat, I felt it wouldn't work out for me. At that time, I didn't realize that you can have the Corbin customized for you and the stock Corbin sits me too far forward. So my wife found out about Russell seats and we really liked everything about them. They are definately customized for you. They don't do a "generic" Spyder seat. So I feel I got the best seat for the money. Now if the weather would cooperate so I can ride on the thing.

Just send'em to Fl... I'll break them in..... :clap::2thumbs:

I don't know how to post pictures, or I would. I got the small diamond pattern, and I really like the looks. To me the double compliments the over all looks of the seat, really looks good. Front and back look the same.

Just to show you how Russell customizes

Here is my seat with the same pattern as Putt-Putts but I have colored stitching and notice my front seat is shorter and my passenger seat is longer. I wanted to sit up closer due to my height and wanting to reach my highway boards easily. Also, my seat is vinyl on the sides and leather on the top.

Here is Putt Putt's seat. I am not sure what material he ordered for his seat.

Here is bjt's seat, his has the half moon pattern and the top for the driver is velour and the sides are vinyl.

Looks nice Putt-Putt. :2thumbs: If I rode with a passenger even semi-regularly, I would have gotten the passenger seat upgrade too but I've only had a passenger about 3 times ever.

Yes, you send a stock seat to Russell for them to replace the foam and put a new cover on it. It should work with the BRP passenger backrest as they use the stock Spyder seatpan to build their seat so it fits the same as a stock seat. You have to call them to see what their build schedule is like. It took about two weeks from the time I sent the seat in until I got it back (UPS ground shipping both ways).

That's about the only advantage to winters in Michigan! Can't ride anyway. Lots of folks bought a spare seat from someone who installed a Corbin, to get a core.

We didn't have any withdrawal, we bought a stock seat and sent it in, when it came back we put the new Russell on my Spyder, then we sent my stock seat in and had it done for Brian's spyder. When that came back we put it on Brian's and now we have an extra stock seat again. If anyone needs it, we are willing to sell it for the $80 we purchased it for plus the cost of shipping.
