When I started my 3rd riding life, I got hooked on Scavenger Hunts, then the IBA National Park Tours, and now I participate in national Grand Tours. This year I am doing 2 Grand Tours. the GLMC Pirate Tour and Team Strange Whispering Giant Tour. I will provide links to both of these if you are interested. I do these for a couple of reasons. 1> They take me to places I would not normally go, which puts me on roads that I might not select and I get to see a bunch of different places. 2> I don't have to scratch my head for where I am going on a particular day so I don't end riding the same loop over and over. 3> I am strange.
I also use to participate in 24 Hour Rallies such as the Minute Man Rally up here in New England.
Another game was a tag game which is pretty simple. Someone rides to a spot, grabs a picture, posts the picture, then you have to ride to a similar place that meets the criteria and then you get to select the next tag. Since this forum appears to spread out pretty far geographically one has to keep it to similar items. The tag could be as simple as lets say a Spyder Dealer, so the next person rides to a Spyder dealer and indicates the next tag has to be a General on a Horse statue.
So do you guys have something similar set up like that, If so point me to it. If not would there be any interest. Arrrghh what say yea
