There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally installed my run-brake-turn lights from Kewl Metal. I had a $100 gift certificate to them from Spyders In The Redwoods. A Spyder always needs more safety lighting. A bit disappointed with their quality control however. The lights are outstanding btw. But they put the wrong connectors in the package and I couldn't contact the company for some reason. I got ahold of Matt, the owner, cell phone number from Spyderlovers and he took care of that situation right away. Then they reversed two wires for the turn lamps and one wire was too short so I had to splice one. Not too big of a deal but I hope they didn't make a batch like this. There would be a batch of PO'd Spyder owners.
