• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Run Forrest Run

No, I have not heard from them. I figured they would be wiped out when they got back home. I believe wbbrn1952 said today they would be about a 900 mile round trip when they got back to P'cola

Happy to hear your home Forrest !!
Happy Birthday!!!

Good to hear that you're home safe. As for being blessed... everyone who meets you get a blessing. You were such an awesome roommate. I had a great time with you. Thanks...

I really need to retire. I missed a great trip up with Doc due to work. Would have been nice riding with Doc and Forrest again. Maybe this time I could have kept up with them.Glad everything turned out good. Cant wait for another chance to get together for a ryde

Doru,
1. If we could get him to 1-75 instead of Tallahassee, could you pick him up there. I know you said Ocala. I am just trying to split the distance if no one else can help Forrest with this section of his ryde home.
2. Is Mobile to Kissimmee too far for him to go in a single day?
Steven
Mobile to Pensacola is approximately 60 miles. Pensacola to Tallahassee is right at 200 miles, and Tallahassee to I-75 (if using interstate all the way) is about 130 miles. Then South on I-75, I want to say it is about 185 miles to the Tampa area, so figure from that as far as a day's driving from Mobile. That does not take into account road conditions, weather, traffic, etc. What does he feel up to riding?

From Lake City to Kissimmee he was doing "6"0 mph with one stop for fuel and two tolls. :doorag:

Well, I wish to state that Doc is a bit incorrect in his statement about 60 mph... I was following Doc. And if you have followed Doc you know his Spyder won't go that slow except at start up and at stop signs.

:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Again I am be blessed to have so many people careing about my travel and getting home safely.
I thank all those real special people and all the other spyderlovers for their kind words and support.

Hope to see you all in Gatlinburg in Sept. If God's willing.
