• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rumor or good info?

I would prefer to get a set of new gears for the shaft-drive - for lower RPMs on touring speeds (it was possible to change that on my old BMWs 1000)
a new longer max-mount for a Topcse and new shocks to bring her up for 1-2 inch on the front ..
but the first what I would change are the tires ..crazy, that there is still no other brands for the front..

I`m happy after more than 10.000 miles without problems, next is to change the swa-ybar to the one from BajaRon .. these are the Ryker shortcut - roads here in Austria

Never understood the hullabaloo concerning drive shaft noise. It's the nature of the beast, get over it. I ride my Rally on my farm daily, lots of slow riding w/turns. That driveshaft clunks away, especially on/off the throttle at a walking pace. It's all good. Smile more, gripe less😄
