First let me say that I hate that word- premium. It's rarely indicative of any actual quality enhancement. It's just a marketing term to charge more money. In the case of the Rumble Road Premium Speakers, it's like putting lipstick on a pig.
I planned on mounting these on my new Kewlmetal bars. Unfortunately, they are far too big to comfortably fit on the Spyder, specifically the left bar where the clutch cylinder sits. :cus:
The speakers ground through the mounting peg which is great unless you have powder coated bars. :cus:
The sound is decent. I didn't get to try them flying down the highway due to the mounting issues. I don't think it's $300 decent though.
I called the manufacturer to inquire about additional mounting hardware. I called several times during normal west coast business hours and got the machine each time. I HATE that! :cus: They returned my call the next evening at 10p.m. EST and informed me they can't help. :cus:
Summary: Overpriced, too big, and poorly designed.
