• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What a piece of crap. I noticed my cowl was a little off center, I checked and sure enough one of the rubbers was broken. I think BRP should come up with a better solution and replace them all...Yep that will happen.:roflblack: The more I get into this :spyder2:, not sure I make a wise choice. Now I have a small leak, antifreeze I think. Always something.:cus:

The cap goes on pretty hard and some do not turn it far enough because of this. If you don't get it on all the way it will leak.

I beleive the wings of the cap align with the holding tank when installed correctly (all the way to the last notch). It should also be level. If one of the tabs does not catch the cap will be up on one side.

It is hard to believe that a cap has gone bad.

From my experience in removing and putting the cap back on, caution is of primary importance. The cap MUST be pressed down and started LEVEL before turning it clockwise. You are dealing with metal to plastic and improperly done, will damage the plastic bottle. There are 2 notches to be overcome before the cap is properly set. The space to work in is very tight, so I recommend unscrewing the red plastic end before attempting to service the coolant.

Cowl Rubber fixed

Wasn't real crazy about the velcro thing. I stopped by Lowe's and purchased a packet of small budgie cords, they were about the same diameter as the rubber ones.($2.49) I cut them the same length as the old rubber ones. Removed the metal clip, burned the end of the cut cord so not to fray and reattached everything to the shorter cord. Cut off the end of the metal attach clip. WALA! they work fine. So far so good.:2thumbs:

I love it, owner finds problem, owner researches problem, owner engineers fix for problem, owner makes product better than stock.

WE HAVE A WINNER! :ohyea:
