• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

we have a 2010 rts se5 limited and were wondering why they no longer install the last 4 digits of the vin number in the lettering on the seat...was it a security issue or just a change...

There was a "Premiere Edition" run of the RT-S model in 2010.
(It's not a Limited: they came out in 2011)
...And you have one of them! :congrats:

Bob is right on. Premier Edition of the RTS in 2010 came with an autographed seat that included the production #. Mine was #474. They were supposed to be worth a little more--but most found out eventually that was not the case.

D,
Do you remember how many of those "PE" RT-S models were made? :dontknow:

EDIT:
OOOOOOPPPPPPPPSSSSSSS. Two things going on here.

Concerning the original PE's (08 GS)
Supposed to be 1500. When all was said and done--about 5,000. That became a running joke for a long time. Extra Value? :roflblack::roflblack: The only one out there that may have extra value is Jay Leno's. He allegedly was given serial #0001.

Concerning the 2010 RTS PE's I believe about 1500. Don't think they went over the line on those. No extra residual value though.
