• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2022 Ryker Rally rear seat stuck - any suggestions?

I just purchased a 2022 Rally. I can't get the rear seat off. I've looked at every YouTube video on" How to Remove the Seat" (Raise button, slide seat forward).
1. The release button is up. Nothing protrudes from the bottom of the seat.
2.There are no screws or bolts showing on the underside of the mounting plate.
3. I've smacked the rear with a rubber mallet trying to drive it forward . . . nothing moves.
4. I've checked the battery voltage, tire pressures, oil level, shock settings, license plate number, registration, phase of the moon, bank statements, cursed, drank an adult beverage, and the seat is still stuck in place. :yikes:
Suggestions?

If the button is up (about an inch or so above the seat) it should just slide forward.
Sometimes it can be a little stiff, but not too bad.
Don't force it too much.

The seat is off!
A layer of dried mud and sand glued the seat and the mount together.
I broke the seal with a rubber mallet . . . not tapping . . . that didn't do anything . . . but bashing on the rear of the hand grips and the backrest pivot got it to move. Had to drive it off - a smidgen at a time.

Glad you got it figured out.
Good to know if the bike gets muddy to pull the seat and clean it off before it dries.
