• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT622 Trailer

Can the RT622 trailer be pulled by another machine besides a cam-am or would the trailer need to be rewired?

Can-Am trailers come with an electrical connector that mates with the BRP bike harness, with a square 4-pin connector. BRP sells an adapter (219400437 or 219400271 depending on year) that plugs into the trailer and presents a standard 4-pin flat connector for the car's harness.

Other than the trailer being so low and short you won't be able to see it in your mirrors, it will pull just fine.

The RT-622 came with several different plug types depending on the year it was manufactured. The Freedom trailer (latest version) only came with the square 4 pin connector. Trailer harness adapter is still available from BRP for the RT-622 conversion to a square four pin for the earlier models with out splicing. (up to 2013)

:agree: there are different version trailer connections for the RT 622.

You can make a patch cable to go from one bike to another to attach to the trailer connector as needed
