Today at about 40 MPH, Iinadvertently hit the kill switch. The spyder slowed a bit and when I realized what had happened, I hit the switch again and the engine started. There was no jerk no leach nothing except power. I did not notice a computer reboot or anything else. I think I would have noticed a reboot of the gauged did their normal thing.
That being said the it is awfully easy to inadvertently hit that switch on or off. Other kill switches that I am familiar with take a bit more positive action to activate. It is possible that, in panic mode, that the kill switch was pushed off and on again.
I believe I asked if the OP tried the kill switch after the incident and he replied he had and it still wasn't working.:dontknow:
