• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT seating

Well, I've figure out that if I put a butt buffer on the comfort seat, it gets me the leg angle and support I need for more than a hour's ride, but it induces some 'discomfort' in the arms.
I haven't seen one but has anyone seen a set of risers that will fit the RT's.
Seems I have to farkle the h*** out of whatever I ride in order to stay on it for more than 30 minutes.

Sorry...
In order to be able to do any tinkering with the handlebars; you'll need BRP's Tri-axis adjustable ones.
It would probably be cheaper, to get your seat on the bike re-configured; why not try an automotive upholstery shop?

I don't believe you can get risers for a RT.
I have the Tri-Axis bars and for me they really did the trick.
Tons of adjustability to get the ride your looking for.
Granted not a cheap option but for me it was worth it.
I bought mine on Ebay and saved about 30%...

Agree..!!

:agree:you can try the different seat gizmos like air, beads, sheepskin etc. These are less expensive than full seats and if you find the best you can go to the auto shop and have them work off that...

Butt Buffer

I found the stock seat works better for me on long rides with my Butt Buffer on the seat. I also have the tri-axis bars which work much better for me that the stock bars.

Tinkering with the seat height via butt buffers got my legs to be quiet after an hour in the saddle. But that got the arms to complaining. Hence maybe the need for the Tri-Axis bars.
The body didn't act like this when it was 18. When it was 18, it could do a swan dive off a Hodaka into a 15 foot deep wash and go to work the next day. 50 years later is another story.

Used to have a Hodaka Dirt Squirt. Real fun to putt on.

+6 on the tri-axis handle bars!

That and the comfort seat, Airhawk R, and NVB pegs I can ride for hours now when I could not before.
