• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Screen is Black

Has anyone seen this before? Analog tach quit working about 2 weeks ago and now when yyou turn the key on you get a black screen that says LCD INIT COMPLETE / LCD ON COMPLETE.
Screen eventually shows CAN AM logo but never goes to main screen. Bike starts and runs just
no screen. It is a 2010 RT. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow, just want to know what to expect.

Thanks Scotty,
That's what I was guessing. Looks like no 25,000 mile pin for me anytime soon. Almost made
it this time, have about 20,000 miles right now. Just hope they can get it fixed in time for us
to leave on the 10th for Maggie Valley.

Before you give up on it altogether, make sure your relays are seated, the fuses are all intact, and the battery is fully charged.

Dealer confirmed bad display today. Picking bike up tomorrow and we will be heading to Maggie Valley Monday.

I may be wrong, but I think the dealer can get that info from BUDS before they swap out the cluster. Scan and email BRP the report with the picture of the additional miles on the new cluster. Also might need it if you ever sell it so you can certify the miles on the machine.

Glad to hear you will still be able to make it to MV...see you there!:yes: We are in Clinton TN now, heading to MV on Sunday. Fabulous riding, even if the weather forecasts haven't been great.
