Not much... If you go to the brp web you can see the spec's and features of both. The pre-fitted luggage is nice but not at that price as well as the gps..jmo..:thumbup:

If you can get LT ,get the LT ,I got my RTS and now I want to add GPS and bluetooth ,the cost may be more than you get LT .My idear you should be get LT if you can

The GPS is the big functional difference...
The luggage is nice, but this largely comes down to bright chrome, versus satin chrome and black accents...

They have stopped including the luggage inserts for the saddlebags (don't know if there was ever one for the trunk area). You can buy a dufflebag version of these from jpcycles.com for about $50 that work great.

The Limited does come with a really cool rolling suitcase that fits perfectly in the frunk, but Can-Am sells those separately as well. Likewise there are aftermarket bags that fit up front pretty well.

The Limited's GPS sits in a nice mount in the center of the handlebars and the wiring harness is wired to the bike's speakers, but I use a bluetooth headset, over-riding the need for the speakers and some people don't like the GPS sitting there.

These are nice features but it's hard to say they're worth it.

Thanks for all the replies! The limiters are beautiful but I just can't justify the extra $5,000. I already have a garmin motorcycle gps that ran me $700 so I should just mount that. I was most concerned with adjustable handlebars and heated grips, etc.

Aside from the GPS, they are almost the same except for the limited has lots of chrome, I didn't prefer all that flash so got the RTS. I mounted my own gps, heated grips for driver and passenger are standard on both. The luggage is overpriced and similar items can be got elsewhere. The adjustable handlebars (Tri-Ax) are an option on all models, and are worth the money especially if you have different drivers or just like being able to adjust riding position. Use the savings to add the tri-ax bars, a drivers backrest and use your own gps.

On the luggage, I find it fits loosely and as a result cuts down on what you could otherwise pack. I bought it from somebody here a few years ago, and once I had it in hand decided to sell it for that reason. If you are traveling, you really want to maximize the available space.

For luggage I purchased a five-piece set of Hopnel soft sided bags from Big Bike Parts for $105. Got a big bag for the frunk, two saddle bag cases and a two piece bag set for the trunk. The Hopnels have very good build quality IMO, and sure beat the pants off the BRP bling bags price-wise. Am beginning to plan my packing for Spyderfest and it appears everything will easily fit in them. The smaller of the two trunk bags, the lower one, will easily carry all my mechanical kit.

I got the rolling trunk with my Limited, and bought the other three pieces from a member in here.
I like the way that it fits in the bike, and it's easy enough to pack what I need to carry in it. :thumbup:

As posted, the levels of equipment vary a bit.

Currently have a base model (2011 A & C) and a 2014 RT-S. Traded in my 2010 RTS Premier Edition (then the top of the line version of the RT).

Did not need the fancy chrome, or the Garmin, so am happy with the set up on the current RT-S.

:agree:I got a basic RT SM6, and I am very happy. In fact, I saved enough to purchase a very nice 2 wheeled bike once the wife gets over the purchase of the spyder

if you can't afford an RT .... buy the lesser equipped model.... then you get to add all the goodies and pay lots more .... :2thumbs:
