• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Radio Issue

Just put a new battery in our two 2012 RTs. One now has no radio. The audio screen on the info screen does not show up on the instrument panel anymore. Weird. Fuses are good. Any ideas? Resets? Hmmm. Puzzled. Thanks in advance!

If yours has battey under the seat, check the chassis ground cable near the battery. Then check the electrical plugin connectors in the area, you may have one partialy unplugged.

Either no power or Can Bus lines disconnected. So the suggestion to look for a bad ground or disconnected wires is a good one. Just because a fuse looks good does not mean it is good. If you have not done it check the fuse with an ohm meter. The radio module is on the opposite side of the Spyder then the battery. But you may still have accidently moved something.

After checking the new battery to see if it is fully charged, disconnect one of the cables again for about 5 minutes.
That should do a "reset".

If that doesn't do it, you are going to have to trace wires and voltages.
