Several months ago when I saw Lamont's great looking Vinyl Wrap I decided it was the way to go. I like the idea of easy repair in case of damage and the ability to remove it completely if so desired with no damage to the existing finish.
I called Pete at Powersportswraps for more info. Pete informed me that there is no Precut Kit for the RT and the only way he could help me was if I brought the Spyder to Erie, Pa. so he could custom wrap it.
Since this would be a 1,850 mile trip one way for me I dismissed it as not possible, but then I remembered I was traveling 1,000 miles to SPYDERFEST (Hmmmm), so I decided to travel 850 more miles to Erie.
Plans were made to arrive at Powersportswraps on May 3rd and begin work on the morning of the 4th.
My problem was that I have an Airbrushed Frunk Lid and was hoping to incorporate the colors into the wrap. Pete did just that as you can see by the pictures.
I cannot speak too highly of Pete and Kelly. :2thumbs: Pete is a perfectionist and only the best would do and Kelly, although recovering from recent surgery, insisted on seeing that I was fed and taken anywhere I wanted to go.
Two long days later my Spyder was finished and ready to go home.
Whether you want custom work or a pre cut kit for your RS, the product is top notch and Customer Service is outstanding.
