• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congrats Ann - but hopefully two brothers will bring he volume down and keep the deep rumble - love the sound but requires ear plugs - two brothers is very very very loud--
..... You must have missed the part about this being on an RT. RT have cat's which limited the sound level, unlike the rs's which would not have a cat, and does allow the spyder to be in your words very very loud.

I don't see how cats will bring down the sound level???? But any way looking forward to a full report on the sound level.....

They make huge huge huge diffrence..... But if you don't see how cats affect them then there's nothing I can do there. The current 2bro exhaust for the rt are very quiet, the even have an optional quiet core add on for them that make them quieter than stock. Again RS are loud with the pipes, RT's much much quieter, not much louder than stock at all more of a deeper sound...... Kinda like comparing a vet to cady diffrence.

She wins EVERYTHING!!! Lucky Ann!!

I don't win everything but I have been pretty lucky lately. I am so excited about this I'm heading there early (very early) Monday. I'll leave the Spyder and go back to pick it up on Thursday. Then I'm off to the American Legion Legacy Ride in Buffalo, NY on Saturday. So I will definitely give the new exhaust a good workout.

You do too. You win everything. :firstplace:

You deserve to win Ann - you are awesome!!!!

Like I said can't wait for ann's review  - so what's db level on the rt version and can you add the optional " quit core" to rs version? I am using two brothers M-2 w sound suppression insert -5 to-7 plus screen..... Not trying to be negative - I love the sound - I just would love it more if it did not require ear plugs on longer rides. -- I've put 7000+ miles on my RS since May.

Again this is not a RT exhaust, the rt and rs are extremely different, the RS is much much much louder, the RT's are way quieter.

I just put a Yoshi R77 on my GS and like Len said, it's louder than on an RT. This pipe on an RT is whisper quiet. On the GS it's actually pretty quiet as well, has a deep mean tone to it at idle, but mellow, quiet. Not RT-quiet but definitely quiet for a GS. When you grab throttle and go, it opens up and makes an amazing noise.

I was a big fan of the two brothers sound but I'm going to have to say this Yoshi pipe is magic if you want a tolerable volume level AND a great, deep, sound when you get on it.

However, now this "new" two brothers exhaust I'm very curious about.

Pipe junkie?

I got up at 2:30 am and hit the road about an hour later. I couldn't get my husband to wake up so I left without him as I had promised that I would have my Spyder to Two Bros. this morning. I was hoping for a nice cool ride but instead it was 90 when I left the house I hit a little rain just outside of Las Vegas and finally some cooler temps in CA. I drank my first energy drink ever today and I didn't fall asleep so I guess it worked.

George Harris and the R&D guys at Two Bros. were excited to get their hands on my Spyder. They were also happy to know that I would be giving the new exhaust a real workout in the next month on my trip.

I had hoped to take some pictures of their shop but my phone charger kept falling off so I had no juice left when I got there.. I'll take some on Thursday when I go back to pick up my Spyder.

Great story Ann, Spoke with the gang today and they had already fit your spyder with current 2bro's and were working on making the changes. The new pipe will be deeper lower sound and extend further out past the sadddle bags more like the factory does, it will also clear the trailer hitch and have a adjustble rear tip to angle the exhaust down or out to the side, with small adjustment.....so deeper lower sound, adjustable exhaust tip and will clear a hitch with ease also allowing the exhaust to be directed away from the trailer..... Thanks Ann for helping make the product better for other spyder ryders:bowdown: and to 2bro's for actually listening to us and making the product better.:2thumbs:

Thanks Ann - I have givi bags on my RS and get some exhaust fumes from time to time- a redirect tip would probably solve that for me - might just have to order the RT version for my RS if it sounds as good at a lower volume than their current pipe - Cant wait for your review. No pressure -- lol

You would have to stall a cat on your RS to have a similar sound.... When you remove the stock RS exhaust you are also removing the cat... The cat is built into the exhaust on RS, on a RT it's a seprate unit, when change the muffler canister you are still leaving the factor cat in place. The the exhaust tip we are adding will be able to fit the older exhasts and slighty..... And keep in mind I said SLIGHTLY educe the sound, also to eliminate possible emission by the new tip but also by extending the muffler a few inches further back.... So new tip, new head pipe, and over all good changes !!
