RT-PE is Here!

My dealer called yesterday to tell me that he got his RT Demo in Monday & that it was built & ready for me to check out. When I got there yesterday afternoon, he let me run it around the parking lot (came from work & didn't have a helmet, so couldn't go on the street). It really looked good. He then mentioned that he had a couple of others, still in the crates. We walked around back to look & I saw one had a VIN number of 0031. We cut the side of the crate open & I saw it was a PE. While he hadn't yet received the paperwork on it, he went ahead and had his guy build it. They let me watch & take pics with my cell phone. Its like watching a birth...

I was the first to order a PE with trailer from his dealership, so we're sure this one is mine. Now all I have to do is arrange the financing...

Hard to tell much from such a short ride. I did like the riding postion a lot more than the GS, still wish the pegs were just a little further forward. I did notice you really had to slam the saddlebags lids hard to get them to latch, maybe just an adjustment. I think I would be more comfortable on a SM maybe just take some geting use to, the Boss trike is a full auto. Ray said they did have a SM-RT demo, that they would be assembled next week. Did you pick yours up today? Was in Lawrenceville today on the Boss trike and started to go by the dealership.

...Did you pick yours up today? Was in Lawrenceville today on the Boss trike and started to go by the dealership.

Not yet. Still working on the financing. Am planning on cashing in a fund to pay for it, but really needed it to happen after the first of January to put the tax burden in a different year. May be a couple of weeks before I actually pick it up, but I'll look at all my options. We'll see...

Neven the first roll out in 07 and 08 they seemed to deliver in warmer climates first and not how orders were taken:ani29::wrong: in my opinion.But I'm sure BRP looks at it as a logistic standpoint
