• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Horn suggestions

Air Horns

Both the WOLO and Stebel horns are of a similar design and both perform well while the Stebel is a bit more costly.
If you, like me, live within a realistic budget, the WOLO was and is a better value. I found the WOLO Bad Boy horns at a local PEP Boys in both the black case and the all chrome case and I almost got the black set. Then I remembered my favorite "toy" store. Harbor Freight!!! HF had the black horns for six dollars less! Dagg I love HF!
When wiring up the horn use a 30amp relay powered directly to the battery and triggered by the OEM horns at the #87 terminal. Leave the OEM horn intact AND functioning for two reasons. First, the OEM horns are electro mechanical meaning they are instant.
Second, air horns unless connected to a charged tank require a short period of time for the air pressure to build before the horn reaches its max volume (db). My WOLOs take 1-2 seconds before they are their loudest (depending on temperature). Because of this slight delay if you need to blip the horns for a friendly warning for say a pedestrian without scaring the what out of them a short tap on the horn button will engage only the wimpy OEM's. Hold the button longer and they WILL know you are there! Moezie

Accessing the wiring

I have the stebel horn, and tried twice to do the installation as shown. Putting in the relay, running the wires, etc are all pretty straight forward, but....

How do you access the wires to the OEM horn. I cannot find the plug shown in the pictures, and although I can feel the plug at the horn, I am reluctant to pull it off because I do not know how to get it up through the tupperware. I would be happy to tap into "#87 Terminal" as suggested, but where is it located? I am doing my best to not have to pull the "frunk," unless that is the only way to get to the harness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
