RT hitch

I picked up an RT trailer hitch, and plan on mounting it when I get back from Spyderfest. In the meantime, I'd like to get some info, like how it mounts on a GS, what module (adaptor) I need to make the 4 wire trailer plug cooperate with my Spyder's wiring, and so on. I'm thinking of a separate power source with the light hot wires for triggers. I'm finally into an area of the Spyder I'm not familiar with, help, please.

The hitch itself slides on the swingarm, just like the RT. For wiring, you are on your own. I think you are wise to choose a powered trailer converter to do the job. A trailer supply store should be able to help. Bushtec sells a unit, too. Lamont may have one of these on his RS? If all else fails, a powered converter for 5-wire could be used, and a separate set of turn signals added to the trailer.
