• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Highway Pegs

Wellll .... just pulled the trigger on my 3rd Spyder. After having 2 yellow RS's since 08 - Decided to go with a silver RT with the audio stuff etc. Anyway .... just wanted to see what the latest and greatest info is on the aftermarket highway pegs. I know there's been a boat load of other posts but whats the latest skinny. Kewlmetal still the only game in town ? Customer Service OK ? Anything else better ?

Picking up the RT Friday AM. Woo Hoooo !

As far as I know, KewlMetal and ISCI have highway pegs/boards, and ESI has spoiler scuff guards/reinforcements. Any of them should serve your purpose, if you really think you need them. The RT rides pretty comfortably...as is.

Hiway Pegs

I got the Kewlmetal mounts and went to a local Harley shop and got some pegs WITHOUT the Harley logo. You need to dismantle the left side of the bike and put it up on wheel stands or ramps to get underneath it. All in all the install took 2 hours with most of the time dealing with the plastic. For those of us who are tall the pegs help stretch out the legs every once in a while.
