RT extra brake light

I noticed quite a few RT's at spyderfest had an extra brake light which was located on the rear trunk, at the indentation on top of the lid. Looks like a one piece bar. I wanted to get one from Pit Bull Power sports but they ran out. Can you please give me the name and part number (if you have it) and/or location where I can order one? I know people on the forum have this info! Just gotta farkle some more! Thanks

I have one on mine and not only does it look good there, the safety factor with the light (it's very bright) just enhances things. To me it was money well spent.

I have an RS and everyone I talk to who wants an RT, I tell them that that is the ONE MUST BUY piece on the whole Spyder.

I,m always looking for the least expensive way to accomplish things.

You can get what I think is Just as effective (If People Have eyes behind you?) for $25 as pictured below.
Autozone Pair of 12" Red Leds= $20
4 Positaps to tie into the lines your going to have to access Anyway??? $5.
I tapped the bottom one into Ground/Running Wire.
Tapped the Top (Brake Light ) into ground/ Brake (White) wire.
Lower light is always on and Top one comes on when you apply the brake.
Saves about $230 ?:yikes:

Looks like you have installed the Muth Signal Mirrors, was thinking of that doing that mod myself. Just curious how tricky was it to remove the existing mirror/glass?
