• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

talk to my friend at the dealer today ... the guy is out of the hospital and doing well ... he doesnt remember anything after leaving the dealer parking lot but a guy that was riding with him saw him look down at something on the bike then steered into oncoming traffic ... so it appears that when he looked down to checkout something he wasnt paying attention and went into oncoming traffic ...but what ever the reason he is ok and thats what counts ....

Wow! Sounds like someone or something was looking over him! That is good news. Thanks for the update. I remember when this story broke and wondered what was going to happen. It serves as a reminder for all of us to never get complacent on our rides. All it takes is a second or less...

Thanks for the update. The post wreck pictures looked bad. The driver was lucky. Terrific that he's doing OK now!

Looking at the pics of the wreck I'm surprised anyone survived.

God speed for a fast and full recovery for the gentleman !

When I took my test ride with the service manager he made a point of telling me not to get fixated on the front wheels because its easy to get distracted?:dontknow:

:2thumbs::2thumbs: I am glad he's ok!

Thanks for the update. I was hoping things would turn out okay for him, as it sure didn't look good judging by the pictures at the time.

Glad to hear the guy's okay. Thanks for the update. I had been wondering how he was doing. He's a lucky fellow.

I'm glad he is recovering. He may remember what happened at some point.

The Spyder handles like a sports car or a go-cart. Very quick and agile. But that advantage has to be respected. You just can't afford to look at anything which takes your eyes away from the road for a long time.

While this is true of any vehicle, it is more true of the Spyder than most.
