hi to spyder world. this is my first thread. i just bought a 2012 rt-622 from Mouthpiece. big thanks today to Mouthpiece hooking me up with the rt-622. anyway, it is a 2012 rt-622 with the 9-pin harness. my bike is a 2014 arts. what do i need to buy to hook up the rt-622. let me know . thanks

BRP sells a harness kit that you replace the 9 pin with a square 4 pin. Look in the BRP catalog. It is a plug and play. Trailer wiring pig tail (through the hitch arm) uses a plug in approx. 24-30" in. Instructions are good.

I do not see it in the new catalog but sure it is still available in old stock. The part number for the RT-622 Tongue Harness is 710003227 for the 2011-2014. It retails for $39.99 from BRP. No splicing involved. Plug and play. Dealer will be able to order or call BRP.

We just finished the re-wiring of our 622 last weekend

You are going to need a few more parts than the ones listed above to rewire your 622. Our dealer was able to order everything we needed to do the wiring. There is now a separate ground kit that is also installed when you rewire the trailer for the newer plug. If I can find the part number I'll send you a personal IM with the information. I can say the instruction that come with the kit are excellent and we had no trouble following them.

BRP hitch comes with wiring module for Spyder. Plug and play. You do have a BRP hitch right?

I agree, you definitely need the ground kit or you will blow out your trailer module. I know from personal experience with a 2010 RT 622 and a 2014 RTS.

not yet. im working a deal with other spyder riders to buy their hitch. one has the bro hitch, the other has the show chrome hitch.

My dealer charged me $99 for the kit.

We installed this kit on a 2010 622 and it works great with our 2015 RT-S.
