• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone put leds on their trailer. looked at tricled but they are out until aug 1. Are they hard to tap? I guess you would use posi taps? What length led strip?

Thanks

I put'em on mine, but I did it all custom using 5050SMD LED's that I picked up off of Amazon, link.
I added both some running lights under the lid which I wired with some diodes and resistors to also function as additional blinkers and brakes, and then put some under the trailer to match the lights I have on the bike.
While I was at it, even added some white strips to the interior.
All controlled by a remote independent from the ones on the bike and using a small sealed battery to run everything so I can light the trailer even if not hooked up to the bike. (with exception to the ones that are running lights; those I did tap into the existing wiring.)
More time consuming than hard to do really.

I bought the Alpena/24 in. MaxLEDlight from Autozone. There are 2 12 in. strips in the package. Very Bright It was $34. 99 for the package here in CT. Easy to wire. I put the 2 strips just below the trailer lid Wired one to the left, and one to the right. On the trailer, the white wire is the hot, and the black is the ground. When you step on the brake, they both light up. When selecting the left turn signal, one strip blinks with the turn signal, and when selecting the the right turn signal, the other one blinks. Trailer wiring is easy to get to, 4 screws & one push in to remove, then pull back the plastic. Hope this helps.
