RT-622 Key Cylinder Instructions needed. Help!!

Anyone have any instructions on how to change the key cylinder on a RT-622 trailer.

I already know the "take it to a locksmith" instructions.

I have a new cylinder and keys & i have the old cylinder and keys

I can't remember if I put the details in a thread or not. Not ar home to pull pictures. Basically, you have to take the rear inside panels out. There is a plate on the back of the mechanism and a couple of cables that come off.

Special note: there is a little spring and ball bearing under the plate. Be sure to watch for those (as they launch into the trailer).

Then you use the old key to take the old cylinder out and then put the new one in. On the old cylinder I remember there being a retaining thing on the back of the cylinder. Push that down to allow it to slide out the front. Be sure it goes in all the way and clicks.
