• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder @ 87K had this symptoms:
1. ryde 10 min, error codes (VSS Error, Check DPS, Limp Home Mode)= maximum 39 mph and 3500 RPM.
2. quick turn key off and on: Check DPS Error, unlimited mph and red line for the RPM; after 20 min, back to (1).
Note: DPS replaced few days ago.

After I did a front end alignment I got the same codes until hooked up to BUDS and had the torque and steering angle sensors reset . I don't know if your front end has gone out of alignment:dontknow: but I remember you had trouble with a bent pin or bushing on your rear Elka shock.

Also when I was in Limp Home Mode when I got into 5th gear at about 3500 RPM I was going 79 KPH ( about 48 MPH )

Steering angle sensor reset properly. Alignment is specs.

I've read some post that they are getting bad DPS and they are using rebuilt ones as well . May-be you are one of the unlucky ones and have another bad DPS :dontknow:

DPS is fully functional, all DPS updates installed.

Serious warnings and limp mode should not be able to be triggered without leaving a fault behind. If BUDS is clean, I would suspect:

1. Low battery voltage
2. Loose or bad relays
3. Loose or corroded wiring connector somewhere...even to a single sensor
4. Faulty module (VCM, ECM, or cluster)
5. RFI interference
6. Interference by an aftermarket accessory

The fact that this happens when warm would tend to point to a processor or circuit board issue, i.e. bad module. Just guesswork on my part. These types of things that leave no tracks...even when they should, can drive you nuts. You might need to call in one of the wizards at BRP tech for help. Kurt, are you listening?
