• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CALL ME 'CRAZY', but i can't leave well-enough alone....
i just had to do it... another DIY MUFFLER MOD, # III... STUBEE is her name...
this time i gutted that sucker, CAT and all, replaced the insulation & perf-core, glued it back together, and OMG.....
WHAT A SOUND... AWESOME
... i now can hear the TWIN-V tone @ idle, which wasn't audible with the OEM or my other MODS....
i chopped 12" out from the OEM size, and it went from 18# to 8#... i'm get'n better @ this stuff... my 1st 1 took all day, this 1 took me about 3 hrs...
hope you like the pix....

Neat looking mod. :2thumbs:

Would be interested to see if the muffler mod creates any issues with the computer controlled systems. There were some issues when people installed Hindles, and have read many threads where people have had to resort to additional add ons like juice boxes, etc. Just wondering what will happen/if anything.

i have had ZERO issues with any of my MOD's.... this 1 included... i'm riding tomorrow to see if the HEAT changes...
i was gona do an ULTRA STUBEE, but i decided against it... (the mounting strap wouldn't work).... check out pic #2 for the difference in length between the OEM, MOD Shortee, & MOD Stubee....

the :spyder2: doesn't protest... but boy-o-boy (or girl-o-girl) does she ever bark now....
VAROOOOOOOOOOOOM.......................

Issues caused by Exhaust mods...

When I got my '08 GS, the previous owner had put on the Hindle (very loud and straight through) and the computer didn't like it... It poped and backfired until I put in an O2 simulator... When I put on the BRP after market muffler, I went back to the stock O2 sensor and all is well... and gas milage is up a bunch. My Riding Buddy, Spyd3r, said my bike smelled of raw gas and that's when I changed back.:ani29:

Can you post video with sound. Great job!

I was never able to get the whole "video thing" sorted out... :opps:
But; you can always post the video on Youtube, and then post the link to it in here...

SORRY

SORRY guys.... :(
i just can't figure out the video stuff... :cus:
i did 3 vids, changing the size to the very lowest, and i still can't get it to down-load... always shows as TOO BIG....

Hey Dan,
create an account on YouTube and upload them there. They will dumb down the quality automatically when you upload them there. just make sure to make them public, then copy/paste the YouTube link here.
Easy peesy.
