The next step right now is just to wait till they are ready.. I hope to have more details this week as to pieces and where
they will fit on the dash. If I get a schematic I will post it for all to see. Believe me ... we are just as excited as you.

RS Dash Kit Illustration- SAMPLE

Hello Anxious RS owners...

Here is a sample image of where some of the pieces of our NEW RS Dash Kit will be applied. I have made some suggestions as to other areas that could be covered but keep in mind
the surface needs to be flat for the dash kit to apply correctly. I suggested to do the vented part as well. Also, it would be nice to have something on the mirror or mirror arms area.

For those of us that have powerlet outlets in our dash, would there be any reason that we couldn't cut the lower left and right hand corner below the speedo and tach?

I would not recommend trying to cut the carbon fiber dash pieces. It is real carbon fiber & may cause you some real grief..

We are hoping the prototyping process will be done pretty quickly. I am awaiting the reply on my additions to the kit as well as some questions I had.
I will let you know when we can start taking orders. But before that we have to establish kits size, # of pieces and most important price. I will let you know
when I have more details... stay tuned.:thumbup:

I'm not very fond of this piece below in the circle. I know you said you can't cut these, but will this piece be seperate so I can leave it off ??? Also, I don't see yellow in your color choices. :dontknow:

Based on the shape of that area it looks to me like it will have to be at least 3 pieces for cover that area since it has curves to it. That was one of my questions that I am waiting on a reply for. You have the option to leave off any piece but it may or may not look out of place depending on location. I have samples of ALL available colors that are being shipped to us. This will save all of us time once we have these because I will post photos of every available color we have. Yes, it seems that I checked on Yellow a while back & it was available. I will confirm...

I personally would not use the handlebar piece. Like to keep mine freshly powder coated

Interested in red carbon fiber...Pete,how does this hold up in the sun?...I have seen automobile wood dashes,which looked like your Honey Burl,fade and crack in the sun ...Thanks..Also any warranty for adhesive or cracking?...thanks again

I appreciate all the hints and comments... I believe they are going to make some additional options for the kit & then we can determine what pieces we want for the final product. I hope to have an illustration for option 2 be early next week. My goal is to have these RS Dash kits available before Spiderfest. We will see... +1. I agree, I don't care for the lower piece. Also curious about color options (though I most likely would be looking for black carbon fiber) and pricing - could not find any info on the site.
